P-EBT

Pandemic -EBT  (P-EBT)  SY 2021-2022

Pandemic-EBT (P-EBT) is a federal program designed to provide food support to families with children who were receiving free and reduced-price school meals and missed school for
COVID-related absences.

The State will provide P-EBT benefits to SNAP and non-SNAP households with children who temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price school meals due to a COVID related isolation/quarantine.  The plan will provide P-EBT benefits to students who: 1) qualify for free or reduced meal benefit and 2) were absent from school due to a  COVID related isolation/quarantine. Students will qualify to receive  P-EBT benefits if the answer is yes to both statement #1 and statement #2.

As a requirement for approval of this year’s plan, the state had to formalize a parent-initiated option for meal application benefits.  The Arkansas Parent-Initiated  P-EBT application can be picked up at the Administration Building (203 S. Pine Street) or you can complete the application online by clicking on the link below.

All applications must be submitted at the Administration Building or online by 12 Noon on Friday, July 29th
